Group Income Protection - Offering:

The provider of this cover is Sovereign Assurance.  (Sovereign income protection members benefits....read more....)  As a member of the NZHECEA you enjoy additional benefits that are not available to the public through any other provider of Income Protection Insurance.  These are as follows:-

• Immediate automatic cover of pre-existing health conditions
• Discounted premiums
• Subsidised Base Plan by your service provider
• Specific 'N.E.S.T.S' additional benefits unique to the Home-Based Education Industry, such as income payment in the event of a pending investigation (refer to PlanWise for specific benefits)
• Choice of three benefit amounts. (based on your Educator Income Band)
• Partial Disability Benefit Payment
• Total and Permanant Disability Lump Sum Payment.
