If the Claim is for an expensive Specialist Consultation or Surgery, we recommend that you apply for "Prior Approval".  This way, once you have received approval you can go ahead with your treatment with the peace of mind that you will not have to face costly medical bills.  In most cases you will need a referral letter or a completed medical certificate from your GP in order to support your claim.
